1. What I like about blogging.

well blogging is a gd way to express urself creatively and constructively...sides that, its a freedom of speech.. u get to say what u want..u express urself..make urself known..what u feel n etc.besides that..its a gd way to interact with ur friends..esp uselful for us future teachers..u go to each other blogs..share materials..n u get to share gossips too!..kinda cool..

2. What i do not like about blogging.

haha..so far so good..just got to watch ur saying..dun wannna land urself in a hot soup or in the wrong place..haha

3. What have they gained from blogging? Language skills, improved fluency, critical thinking, improved thought processes, technology skills etc.

well..blogging kinda make me wanna share stuffs..u noe..its a webpage..ur own..dump all u want in it..people will read it..n best of all u share ur thoughts. Sides that..it does improve my language profiency..and technology skills as well.

4. How?

teachno skills..before this i was blinded about blogging..now there is a new opportunity..new window for me to learn newer stuffs..

5. What they like about the course

It offers new knowledge on technological aspect and a lot of soft skills had been integrated throughout the learning process

6. What they do not like about the course

expectations..kinda too high.too much without proper planning..come on..even Rome wasnt build in a day..planning..

Managing ur time..controling urself..developing urself to face the real world out thr.new techno skills..editing espcially.

the vast usage of techno in teaching.

i want to develop materials.i mean not so focused on something..kinda a narrowed down scope.

10. If they can change anything about the course, state what it is and explain.

one too many.well..i think i will just stick to management and planning. plan well..plan ahead..not plan as u go..as one of the military units says 'one shot one kill'..same thing here..one plan..excecute it.not many plans and excecute all..in the end u get nothing..just wasting bullets with lots of stray bullet shots.

that said...its done..its over...well..another sem goes by..every begining has an ending.

every begining has an E.N.D...

the semester is coming to its end..the end is near..sounds of cheering,relieve,satisfaction echoes at every corner..everyone needs a break..the end is near people..the sound of freedom is playing in the background..

it has been a great ride..more of it has been a roller coaster this semester for me..there were one too many ups and downs..one too many breakdowns...one too many losing grip..but the end is near..a smile will be engraved on this face soon.. =)

was a fun semester actually..learned alot..practically wasted sometime too..but at the end of the day..knowledge was still acquired..anyways..learning is a process..and its given to those who wants to learn..doesnt need to be in the conventional form..its in thousands of other ways..as long as one wants to better oneself..then learning is taking place that very moment..and thats what i wanted for myself and i think i got it..i learn alot dis semester..not the conventional way..but unconventionally.. some what cool.. a different view and perspectives for once.

rise up people..few days left..lets buckle up for one last ride together before we all call it quits for this semester...see ya on the otherside peeps!

E-portfolio

An electronic portfolio, also known as an e-portfolio or digital portfolio, is a collection of electronic evidence assembled and managed by a user, usually on the Web (also called Webfolio). Such electronic evidence may include inputted text, electronic files, images, multimedia, blog entries, and hyperlinks. E-portfolios are both demonstrations of the user's abilities and platforms for self-expression, and, if they are online, they can be maintained dynamically over time. Some e-portfolio applications permit varying degrees of audience access, so the same portfolio might be used for multiple purposes.

An e-portfolio can be seen as a type of learning record that provides actual evidence of achievement. Learning records are closely related to the Learning Plan, an emerging tool that is being used to manage learning by individuals, teams, communities of interest, and organizations. To the extent that a Personal Learning Environment captures and displays a learning record, it also might be understood to be an electronic portfolio.

Students have been taught to create digital identities using presentation software or tools to create web pages. Such technologies, however, are not easily utilized by children or elderly people who lack web authoring skills or a hosted site. More recently the use of virtual learning environments (VLEs) in schools and universities has led to an increased activity in the creation of e-portfolios for a variety of reasons. Most of these e-portfolios, however, are retained within the VLE and are not easily accessed outside the VLE. This results in problems of exporting data and related interoperability issues. An alternative approach is to use a system externally hosted to any institution. This permits transition through the various stages of education and employments and even into retirement.

E-portfolios, like traditional portfolios, can facilitate students' reflection on their own learning, leading to more awareness of learning strategies and needs. Preliminary results of a comparative research between paper based portfolios and electronic portfolios in the same setting, suggest use of an electronic portfolio leads to better learning outcomes.

SMARTboard-ING kinda sound like skateboarding..or snowboarding..which means its suppose to be sumting kinda ez n smooth flowin not?!!!...haha..i do tink so...haha..kinda ez n cool once u get a hang of it

niways...SMARTboard-ING aka IWB-interactive whiteboard..the next big thing hitting our shore..ooppss..no no..hitting our schools...man..dis ting is the THANG..ive been playin wif it..mm.coming to my 3rd year messing wif it..seeing the software getting version updates n come to tink of it...adapting n adopting some of powerpoint features..whc is cool n convinient

so yea..my last assignment!!!!...SMARTboard-ING!!!...coolness...gonna board the whole process thru...it was one of the easiest hardest assignment for me...cos i dunno realli noe wad to teach..but d messing wif IWB..is kinda not a probie for me..

niways...dis one last assignment was sure a fun one..one to rmb..cos i practically develop my own teaching material..wif sum ideas from my frens..(crediting my fren =) thnx )..dis is a masterpiece my own work...n to b honest altho its simple..but m proud of it..

and as a future teacher..this assignment open my eyes n gave a wider perspective of what i cud do in skul wen m teaching..not to become one of the boring teachers that i used to have back in skul...whr what dey usually do in class is make me sleep and skip classes..hahaha...i do hope with all these that ive learn and acquired from this assignment will make me a better teacher .
